Position Summary

In a newly expanded strategic role with a worldwide leader brand in fashion plumbing, the Vice President of Human Resources will develop &implement initiatives to build a 'Best-In-Class' team and "Employer-Of-Choice" organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current individual company policies, procedures &values, current state.
  • Maintain and reinforce best practices where applicable.
  • Research and implement people initiatives to build professional 'Best in Class' teams in all departments of the company.
  • Conduct a human resources skills gap analysis identifying area for improvement.
  • Search, select &employ talent to fill the identified skills, voids and/or train current resources to improve and meet the skills assessment.
  • Become completely familiar with the company strategy and map the organization to match that strategy.
  • Benchmark other related companies as well as other leading organizations to determine the appropriate action plans to be developed.
  • Realign organizational competencies with the business strategies, assist in establishing pertinent KPI's and police accountability within the organization.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years professional HR management in manufacturing operations environment
  • International &multi-site corporate HR experience including personnel, variations of principles and social laws
  • Experience in building a best-in-class organization (employer of choice)
  • Computer skills including MS Office knowledge and basic data entry
  • Labor relations negotiation skills
  • Strong team leadership and staff management skills including motivation
  • Must be a self starter!
  • Must be a change agent with the ability to maintain cultural differences

Education
  • B.A. degree in Business, Economics, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
