Position Summary

This key sales management position is with a leading technology company and worldwide brand leader in the plumbing industry. Ideally based in Southern California, this individual will be responsible for the Western Region which generates the significant revenue within the company across all product categories. It is a high profile position within the organization due to volume and key distribution partners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • New Product Penetration
  • Manufacturers' Representative Development
  • Dealer Development
  • Key Accounts Relationship Development
  • Sales Agency Evaluation and Leadership
  • Ensure Product Training and Expertise Among Channel Partners
  • Promotional Development and Execution
  • Detail Trends and Competitive Activity
  • Strong General Business Acumen
  • Must Understand Financial Implications of Business Decisions
  • Ability to Generate Regional Business Business Plans
  • Ability To Evaluate and Lead Manufacturers Reps
  • Must be able to work across all functional areas
  • Establish Relationship with Key Distribution Partners
  • Ensure Development of New Sales Agencies
  • Refocus Sales Agencies
  • Achieve Regional Sales Targets

Position Requirements

  • 7+ Years Sales Management: Wholesale - Mix of Residential and Commercial Plumbing
  • Understand "value added" selling
  • Ability to Quickly Grasp Products of a Highly Technical Nature
  • Western Regional Knowledge of  key distribution partners
  • New Product Penetration e.g. "Product Launch"
  • Industry Knowledge

Education
